Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Torqued.app. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to terms

By creating a Torqued.app account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're using Torqued on behalf of a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. What Torqued.app provides

Torqued.app is software for mobile mechanics and independent auto shops: online quoting, job scheduling, a branded customer website, and invoicing/revenue tracking. Torqued is a software tool, not a party to any transaction between an Account Holder's business and their customers.

Torqued does not process payments between an Account Holder and their customers, and does not integrate with any payment processor for that purpose.

Torqued does not perform, supervise, or guarantee the quality of any automotive repair work — that is entirely between the Account Holder's business and their customer.

Pricing, quotes, and invoices generated in the app reflect information the Account Holder enters; Torqued is not responsible for pricing accuracy.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, processed through Stripe. Annual billing includes a discount versus paying monthly, applied automatically. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings — changes take effect at your next billing cycle. There are no long-term contracts.

Free trials, where offered, do not require a credit card to start. If you don't subscribe to a paid plan after your trial, your account and any published storefront may become inactive.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Torqued for any unlawful purpose, or to misrepresent your business or the services you offer.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, or to another Account Holder's data.

Interfere with or disrupt the service, including through excessive automated requests.

Use the platform to collect customer information for purposes unrelated to operating your business.

6. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the business content you upload (logo, service descriptions, photos, etc.) and of your customer data. You grant Torqued a limited license to host, display, and process that content as necessary to provide the service — for example, publishing it on your storefront.

You're responsible for having the right to use any content you upload, and for how you collect and use your own customers' information in compliance with applicable law.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk to the platform or other users. Upon termination, your storefront will no longer be publicly accessible.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Torqued.app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Torqued's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Torqued is not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from transactions between an Account Holder and their own customers, or from the quality of automotive work performed by an Account Holder's business.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll reflect material changes with an updated "Last updated" date, and where required by law, provide additional notice.
